I bought the first roll to stick down some bathroom rugs. I used the entire roll with 2 long strips. Hardly cost effective. I got another roll, and this time I used a 2" to 3" piece on either side of the bathroom rugs. Working perfectly. I also used in on the kitchen rugs, and even the one that is by the back door where the dog comes in and out through her dog door. That was 2 weeks ago and still sticking:)UPDATE:Wish I had found this product years ago. I am finding all kinds of uses for it. I have a back door that I use ALL the time and it has a blind on it. For years and years, each time I open the door and close it the blind moves and is crooked. So, I have to straighten it out repeatedly. I took one little square of this tape and stuck it to the back of the blind, and it now stays perfectly no matter how many times I open and close the door. I have also used the tape to secure black out drapery blinds.UPDATE:Really you need this tape. The side view mirror fell off on a 2003 Silverado and so we bought a new mirror from the Auto Parts store and stuck it on with this tape. TWO years later, still sticking. A new mirror was going to cost a lot to disassemble and reinstall. Let's see what else. I have a wood patio and there is a cloth type cover that keeps slipping through the slats. Stuck the tape to the wood and pulled the cloth cover over it and BINGO all is working well.I can't even think of all the other things we have used it for. It is simply a great buy and something good to keep around.
