3M F9460PC VHB Adhesive Transfer Tape with shear strength, offers long-lasting bonds. It is used as a replacement for the liquid adhesives, spot welds, rivets, and permanent fasteners. The acrylic adhesive tape can be used in aerospace, automotive, and electronics industry to bond flexible printed circuits (FPC) to aluminum stiffener and heat sinks. The underlining feature of this high-adhesion tape is its high resistance to heat, chemical, UV, and solvent. This is the consummate double sided tape-glue. I use it to make kites. It is very secure once you burnish it in place and leave it for a few minutes. You can sew through it without gumming up your needle. There is no backing. It lays down just the adhesive, so it's light and flexible. This is an expensive way to get just 5 yards, but it's virtually impossible to find it in 1/4 inch widths anywhere, and it's worth it to me to not have to cut away and often waste wider tape. Industrial strength stuff.Yes....just yes...This stuff is great. It's old stock so some of it sticks to the back side. But you get soooo much....who cares. Well worth the cost and will be buying another old stock roll because...it's just soooo much of it and it is some strong stuff.I'm really pleased with the 3M tape.I used it on a oak cabinet, veneering red oak to red oak. It gave me a solid almost invisible joint. I'll use it again!I have been using this product for a special application. Received on time.Our company needed a CofC for this product and the TapeCase provided one promptly.VHB tape is awesome & you can find a host of uses you never even thought were possible once you have it in your hands. Don't mess w/ any other kind of double sided tape. Make it genuine 3M VHB or nothingBuilding an RV14. Product works perfectly on the TE of the rudder and elevators. Much easier to use than fuel tank sealant.Useful tape, cure at room temperature. Does not seem to harder. May be useful as a thin double back tape but it is a film, very thin.
