Theraband Kinesiology Tape - Waterproof Sports Tape for Pain Relief & Muscle Support | Ideal for Athletes, Physical Therapy & Injury Recovery

I bought this after my PT recommended it to me. I’d tried other tapes that were okay. I was not impressed with the stuff until I tried this tape.It’s very elastic and does pretty much anything you want it to do. I use it to help with chronic ankle sprains and I love it. But, I’ve ended up using it for other things too and I consider this a staple in my medicine cabinet now. I wore the wrong sandals once and ended up with insane blisters on the bottom of my feet. I still had to work, so I had to figure out how to protect the blisters while also being able to walk. Bandaids will roll up and move around and make the blister worse. So, I ended up coating the blister in Vaseline and then using a few short strips on the tape to completely cover the area. It worked like a charm! The Vaseline protected the blister from the adhesive, but the stretch of the tape kept it tightly protected. Healed so fast!The adhesive is insane though. It lasts for 2 days through a shower. Once it’s been on your skin for about 30 minutes, the heat from your body like fuses it in place. It does NOT move. It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing socks and shoes. Doesn’t budge. That being said, be careful removing the tape!!!The first time I used this tape, I took it off the same way I took off other tapes, I just ripped it off. BAD IDEA WITH THIS TAPE!!! Do not just rip it off!!! I ended up with a GIANT blister covering about 3 square inches of skin because the adhesive is so strong that when I ripped the tape off, it separated the layers of skin. It was so painful. It was my own fault though, so I don’t blame the tape. Just be careful taking it off.Best way I’ve found is to take a shower and then when the tape is wet, start rolling is back. I basically roll it up adhesive side out and it comes of gently this way.My stupidity aside, I’d highly recommend this tape. It’s so worth the money.I have used many brands of kinesiology tape and this one is my favorite. It has very good adhesion. It will stay on for many days. It has good stretch and their patented hexagon system to determine percentage of stretch is genius. I’m a PT and we recommend it to our patients. Also it’s very well priced.This tape definitely provides support for my knee. I was recently diagnosed with bursitis and both my chiropractor and sports medicine doctor recommended this tape. I wear it all the time (it's quite a conversation piece) and don't feel it at all. I did a 12-mile hike in upcountry Maui three days ago, and I have no residual pain. It's not a solution, but it's a terrific aid!good quality for the price use on patients every day. used every brand over the years and there is no better tapeThis tape has great adhesion but you can take it off without feeling like I am removing skin. The print shows how much tension you have over the curvature of the application.I use this tape 5/7 days of the week. It stays on and in place and works extremely well.I purchased this for my father. It was recommended by his physical therapist. Works great and relieves his shoulder pain.Having used the pre-cut strips and loved them, I bought a large roll of the blue. It was neither as sturdy nor as sticky and wasn’t waterproof. Waste of money and can’t be returned as defective.
