The adhesive is awful. Less sticky than a post it note. The metal itself feels like it would be fairly durable, but I’ll never know since it’s not sticking where I need it.The metal is stainless, and is both strong and nonmagnetic. But the adhesive is flammable.I looked up the data sheet for 3m 2-3-3361, and it doesn't say high temperature anywhere.Take a piece of tape, remove the backing, fold it over twice so it is 3 layers thick. It burns more than I would expect for a high temp product.The adhesive melts and boils, the tape releases, air comes in, and it the adhesive burns. Afterward, the metal part is charred but still strong. But the adhesive is gone. My expectation is that the adhesive would only smolder.If the description didn't say high temp, I'd give it a better rating. I believe I 3m does make high temp tapes.This is not a 3m product. Says tape converter from... Have no clue what that means. Also there is almost no adhesive on the tape. It's not sticky almost at all. Also tape is very thin in case you are looking for thicker tape this is not for you.IT SAYS IT IS FROM THE 3M PRODUCT. The ss tape itself was just what I wanted but the adhesive was extremely poor - almost worthless. Disappointing.The tape wraps good but if comes up it will cut your finger.Strong tape...but were gloves to prevent getting cut.Rather expensive, but just what I wanted.Ich hatte das Klebeband bestellt, um einen unbenutzten Namensschild-Ausschnitt in einem Edelstahl-Briefkasten zu überdecken. Für diesen Zweck ist das Klebeband aufgrund guter Haftung und vernünftiger Materialdicke prinzipiell gut geeignet, allerdings evtl. etwas zu schmal - ich musste zwei Bahnen übereinander kleben. Die Maßangaben in der Artikelbeschreibung sind durch Vermischung von Meter- und Zollangaben leider völlig durcheinander geraten. Korrekt wäre:Breite: 0,625 Zoll (1,59 cm)Länge: 3 yards (2,74 m)Dicke: 38/1000 Zoll (0,96 mm)Zur Hitzebeständigkeit o.ä. kann ich keine Angaben machen. Sofern sich das Klebeband vom Briefkasten verabschieden sollte, werde ich hier entsprechend nachtragen.Ich habe das Tape speziell in Edelstahl erworben, um es als Zierstreifen (im Zusammenhang mit bereits vorhandenen Edelstahl-Leisten) zu verwenden. Die Produktabbildung war hier vielversprechend. Allerdings sieht das gelieferte Tape viel schlechter aus als abgebildet. Der Rand des Tapes ist ungleichmäßig und ausgefranst. Hervorgerufen wohl durch einen schlechten Schnitt. Auch der 3M Aufdruck im Innenring fehlt und er ist nicht gelb. Ich habe das erst erkannt, als ich das Band aus der eingeschweißten Folie ausgepackt habe. Keine Kaufempfehlung für Zierzwecke. Für andere Verwendung ohne Wert auf Optik evtl. ok.
