I bought this to hold up LED light strips under my cabinets and under the microwave oven mounted above my stove. The two light strips under the cabinets are still holding after a few months. The light strip under the microwave, and over the stove, didn't hold for more than a few days. The heat from the stove, while not extremely hot at that height, was enough to cause the tape to fail.
