I’m using this tape on watercolor paper, so I don’t want it to be too sticky, but it doesn’t stick very well at all. Especially since I have oily skin, so if I touch the adhesive side as I’m putting it on the paper, that end will not stay down. It works for certain color mixing charts since I tape the edges with 1/4 inch blue painters tape. That holds everything down, but I don’t think I’d be able to use it if I didn’t have that other tape holding the ends down. I’ve also only used one size so far, wish I could buy them separately.If used properly, it’s decent for nail art. I made sure not to touch any part that would be sticking to the nail. So it stuck as well as blue masking tape sticks when painting. Because the tape itself is not perfectly smooth, there will probably be a very slight chance for nail polish to bleed under. I pressed down firmly beforehand. Be patient and let polish layers completely dry or the tape will pull paint up. Don’t let current layer dry before pulling tape up or the polish will stick to it and turn out bad.They work.Depending on how complicated the nail art is, this was sticky enough to get the job done reasonably well. I'm happy with it.I like the variety of widths. Easy to use. Easy to tear without the use of scissors.Sometimes leaves a sticky residue.Best tape overall that I have bought!!the different sizes make it so much better to use it in so many ways, painting, projects, masking, nail design! Love love love!!!This tape is great for masking models during painting. You get all the various sizes listed which makes it a great buy for the price.Does not stick enought ot do my nails. The tape lifts up before paining nails and the paint smudges under tape.
