I’ve tried this hair unit tape for 4 weeks before writing this review. I had high expectations of this tape after reading its details. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations.Using it with a 100% lace hair system, I found that after 24 hours, the adhesion was very week. A gentle tug would separate the lace base from the tape. I did try using a hair band, heat, and some other techniques to assist the adhesion during the first hours of application. Nothing made a noticeable difference.The other negative is that the tape is high gloss. So, it’s very visible through the lace when you’re im bright lighting or sunlight. Not good for a natural look. I also discovered that after waiting 3 days to wash my hair in the shower, the adhesion was immediately lost once my hair was washed in cool temperature water.The one positive that I can say about this tape is that it doesn’t leave the horrible sticky residue afterwards like many other Ultra Hold tapes do. So, clean-up and preparation is very easy.My hopes were to buy a tape with no shine, very little sticky residue after removal, and strong adhesion, even after washing my hair in the shower, for at least one week. Unfortunately, this tape only met 1 of the 4 requirements that I was wanting.
