I used this to seal up my misaligned exhaust duct going from my newly installed range hood to the existing house exhaust. The existing exhaust was improperly installed when the house was built leaving a half inch gap when the range hood (any range hood) was installed. This tape is ideal for this purpose and created a perfectly sealed duct. In aviation we call this 500 mph tape because it is occasionally used to make temporary repairs to minor damage on aircraft surfaces. That should tell you how sticky this stuff is, and multiple layers can be used for strength.Used to attach a metal pipe to a plastic adapter from a portable air conditioner. Very strong grip and still holding up.Didn't melt or come off from the heat of a vehicles exhaust.Worked as describedI used this product to insulate my portable air conditioner hose to avoid the house filling back up from the heat radiating from the hose. This is absolutely easy to use and what a huge difference it has made to keep my house cool. This is my favorite tape now! If you want a great bond, this is it!!!Great product.Worked like I expected. Used it on the hood of lawn tractor that was cracked in many places. This tape works well where heat is an issue.I needed to seal a Faraday cage and this tape is perfect for the job. Thank you for this wonderful tape for prepping.This is no good if you want it to adhere to brickwork in chimney, it will never stickThis is an excellent companion tape with the Heat Resistant Aluminum Insulation. The heat resistant tape is holding up very well on the Aluminum Insulation on our windows. We have no AC and with the aluminum insulation stapled on “heavy” cardboard ( lighter cardboard shrinks with the heat) both cut to the exact size of the windows and the tape to hold the Aluminum insulator together when pieced, the house is 10* cooler than outside. Livable at last. If it was 32* C (90* F) outside the temperature inside our house was 32* (or 90*). These are normal outside temperatures for our Canadian summers.The tape is easy to work with. The tape can be torn to size, so no scissors are needed. The tape is easy to apply. It’s also very sticky. Easy to remove and place again depending on what the tape is stuck too. Arrived on time and in good conditionUsed it on the return air duct of the furnace, it stuck real well and blended in so not noticeable, also used it too make sure that the duct from the hot water tank was securely fastened to the chimney, which was the primary reason I bought the tape.We suffer from excessively warm (hot) weather and can not get an air conditioner as we have radiant heating, meaning no vents in the house. We have to cover the sun-facing windows and use sliver heat-resistant insulation sheets. Last year we used regular packing tape to attach the sheets, which became very hot and peeled off. This year we tried the foil tape and it's working perfectly.Used it to vapour seal a foil insulation ceiling. It worked as well as any foil tape if ever used. It's the real deal. Not cheap but this is about as inexpensive as you can find anywhere.
