Relatively pricey, but still a great product.It's cheaper than other gaffer's tape I've bought in past, but definitely thinner. Easier to tear, but not sure how long it'll last.The more expensive one I used in past, I've had stuck to glass for 10ish years, never came off, and it even gets wet a fair amount. This one seems like it might last half as long due to the thinness and quality.Pros: Great value for the money, sticks and removes pretty well, tears about how it should.Cons: Could stick a *little* better, slightly slippery on the back, has a bit of a sheen instead of very flat black.Real black gaffers tape is the flattest black you can get. You just don't want light bouncing around and you want this to be as invisible as possible. The tape has a little bit of a sheen to it which makes the tape more visible. The back is also a little bit slippery and while a person stepping on taped cables probably isn't going to slip, you want to minimize those chances as much as possible for safety. I was going to try a wetness test to see how it affected slips and stickiness but ran out of the tape before I could do that.All that said, I would buy this along with some real gaffers tape. There are many uses where these slight shortcomings are not a big deal and the cost savings are nice.Tape sticks like its supposed to, but I don't care for the outside texture.Great for chroma key with obs. Set your color from 00ff00 to like 00ee00. (r:0, g:238, b:0) and you can decrease the "similarity" index to make the effect more accurate.That paint is from home Depot, Behr: Sparkling AppleI've used this in the garage and car for so many uses. It's definitely strong and useful, but has left residue on almost everything (not on concrete) including rubber, glass and clearcoat. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A TRUE NO-RESIDUE TAPE, LOOK ELSEWHERE.What I like is its lasting adhesion and its easy to remove.Bought this for chroma keying. Works very well. Not as strong of adhesive as I expected.
